It should be funny, but its not. For the second time in as many years, we have been the scapegoat for someone's online mischief. In this case, it is the greenteagirlie you tube video madness.
Someone posted a couple videos and "gamed the system" to make them popular. This was labelled as commercial and quite a bit of heat developed around the issue. Now for some reason completely unknown to us, the domain, greenteagirlie.com is being redirected to our website.
Now who would do this? The domain is registered to XiHu Organic in Beijing, China. I doubt someone in China is pulling off a marketing stunt on you tube (how would they cash in on the sales in a US market?). They could be a crafty affiliate of ours, but there's no affiliate tags. If it's someone just trying to put the blame on us, then they are missing out. I couldn't pay enough for this level of traffic.
As for me being the culprit of this elaborate and partly ingenius marketing ploy, if it is indeed one, well, I'm just not that good. I'd love to take credit and say I'm that smart, but it just isn't the case. And I'm afraid I have never spent time on you tube. Guess I'm behind the times.
Anyways, thanks for the traffic and sorry about what they did to your community over there at you tube.
Cheers!
